Mrs. Margaret Grace Addis Burns passed away on August 20, 2020 at the age of 103. Mrs. Burns, affectionately known by her family at Gigi, was born on March 5, 1917 in Atlanta to the late William Addis and Minnie Lee Wilbur Addis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, a granddaughter, Elizabeth (Beth) Cook Dickman, a great- great granddaughter, Stella Dickman, and her husband Jack Burns.

She is survived by her daughter Melinda Cook and her husband Jene; grandchildren, Mark Cook (Dolores), Deborah Fisher (Neil), Mary Higgins (Jeff), Paul Cook (Stacey); great grandchildren, Maeghan Strope (Josh), Zach Fisher, Jeffrey Higgins (Jamie), Daniel Cook, Hannah O’Neil (Cam), Will Dickman (Kelly), David Higgins (Lindsay), Micah Dickman, Rachel Burgess (Austin), Grace Cook, Margaret (Maggie) Dickman, Caroline Cook, and Thomas Dickman; great- great grandchildren, Savannah Strope , James Strope, Addie Strope, Andrew William Dickman, III (Liam), Jeffrey G. Higgins, III (Jay) and Charlie Higgins; grandson son- in- law, Andrew Dickman; nieces, nephews and extended family.

The family will have a private visitation followed by a family celebration of life meal at the Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand. A public graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 11:00 am at the Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. Family will assemble at the grave. The service will be live streamed at
