What a glorious day it must have been in heaven yesterday as Mrs. Lera Cochran met face to face with her heavenly father and was reunited with all her loved ones who had gone on before her. What a gracious, giving, Southern lady Mrs Cochran was. Our paths crossed 32 years ago as I was looking for an apartment to rent. I found a listing in the LaGrange newspaper and called. I spoke with her on the phone but she later turned me over to her son Wesley to complete the rental arrangement. I lived in her apartment only 2 years but feel I made a friend forever. I only had the opportunity to visit Mrs. Cochran some years later as I was passing through LaGrange. I could not have asked for a better landlord. Wow to have 2 major milestones in the same year for Mrs. Cochran - one in reaching her 100th birthday and now experiencing her life with her Lord and Savior. RIP Mrs Cochran, thank you for making an impact on my life, thank you for being a great landlord, and thank you for being my friend.
