Dottie was one of the sweetest and most talented people I have ever known. She was always ready to help a friend...she never treated her brother like a passing stranger. She could sing, she could sew, she could draw, and she could write. What a talent to have taken away from us. We will never forget you, Dottie.

Dottie created countless precious works of art in so many forms.
Most of them were tributes to her favorite musical hero Leon Russell, and she gave them away freely to her friends, never asking for a dime, and even refusing to take anything at all. Such selfless people are so rare, and this world has lost this loving and gentle spirit.
Dottie was always there to lend an ear or offer a good wish and generously extend her friendship to innumerable lucky people.
There aren't enough tears to equal all the love she poured out in her life to her friends and family, she was such a loving soul.
