Anne B. Mudrak, age 101, and resident of Lagrange GA (previously Mountaintop, PA) died quietly in her sleep on June 7th, 2020, at Valley Manor Senior Home, in Valley, AL.
Anne was born June 13, 1918, daughter of Mary and William Bednar. From a family of three brothers (John, Willie, Ed) and four sisters (Marie, Margaret, Rose, Martha) she is survived by Rose Kutney, from New Jersey.

Anne moved to Pennsylvania in 1954 with her husband Vince who was relocated by his employer, the Foster Wheeler Corp. Anne also had a working career, being employed by RCA until early retirement in 1980. She was preceded in death by her husband who died on 13 Nov 67, and daughter, Camille, who died 24 Jan 2005. She is survived by her son, Vincent Mudrak from Lagrange, GA, her grandsons David Mayka from Houston, TX, and Vincent Mudrak from San Jose, CA; her granddaughters Diane Mayka Nulton from Shermansdale, PA, Deborah Mudrak Hughes from Pine Mountain, GA, Camille Mayka Otto from Marysville, PA, and Danielle Mayka Godshall from Quakertown, PA. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren, and three great, great grandchildren.

Anne Mudrak enjoyed life, spending time with friends and family. She was always willing to volunteer her services, and that love of community service kept her strong. Whether a cub-scout den mother, or a little league supporter, she was ready to help. She volunteered seventeen years of service holding monthly birthday parties for residents at the White Haven Center, and she often visited residents at the MtTop Nursing Home. She enjoyed participation in church functions, and many of Anne’s quilts became cherished gifts, or prizes at St. Jude’s Picnics.

Anne liked to travel, and was always ready to go somewhere. But she also enjoyed having personal quite time -- reading her favorite novels, and volunteering time at the Kirby Memorial Library. But most of all, Anne liked to play bridge; and she loved her Mountaintop Bridge Group. Gifted in card playing, Anne played bridge with her Group into her 90s. And during her 100th birthday, she spoke fondly of her lifelong friends in Penna. These were more than friends to her -– they were family.

Anne spent her final years residing in Georgia, with her son Vincent and daughter-in-law Susan. Anne enjoyed a happy life, and she will be remembered. Because of COVID-19 Issues, Anne is being cremated in GA via Higgins Funeral Home, and her subsequent memorial service in PA is being delayed --- probably Autumn / 2020.
